Sometimes we all need a pamper night to relax and unwind, and there’s nothing I like better than a hot bath and face mask. So here’s my ultimate guide to the best pamper nights, including all the products I’m loving right now.
It’s Pamper Time!
It’s important that your environment around you is nice and relaxing. Get some new pjs out, put clean bedding on and light a scented candle or two. I’ve been loving this soy wax candle from the brand ‘A Pony Called Steve’, it smells of parma violets, and I mean who wouldn’t want their room to smell of it?! These candles get about 30 hours of burn time and the packaging is super cute too.
On a pamper evening I like to pick out a few of my favourites, including cleansers, face masks and moisturisers to give my skin a real good deep clean! I also like to treat myself to the rarity of a fragranced body lotion on my sensitive skin. I just stick to my legs as it’s the only part of my body where my eczema doesn’t really flare. I have been using this ‘A Pony Called Steve’ Pink Lemonade Body Lotion. The scent is super sweet and fruity, and you only need to apply a little as it absorbs really quickly. I love to use it after shaving my legs to keep them moisturised. Also, the packaging has flamingos and pineapples on so looks cute on your bedside table!
Treat Your Tummy
Although it’s tempting to get all the sugary treats out, it can leave you feeling a little sickly and struggle to get to sleep so I’d recommend making yourself a nice fruit or green tea to settle your stomach before bed. My current favourite is this peach green tea…yum!
Lastly, pop on your favourite film and snuggle up in your clean bedding and fresh pjs. I’d recommend doing all this while putting your phone away in a drawer for a couple of hours. Just switch off from the world and get some me time, I guarantee you won’t regret it!
