Spring skincare picks

Spread the love

Spring is here (kind of) and I’ve changed up my skincare routine to keep my skin hydrated, dewy and as clear as possible. The medication I’m on at the moment means my eczema is pretty much kept at bay, so the skincare products i’m using are actually doing good things for my skin, and apart from a couple of minor flare ups my skin is the best it’s been for months. So, here are the skincare products I’ve been loving!

Dermalogica Ultra Calming Cleanser

I feature this in my winter skincare picks and I’m still loving it. As it says on the bottle, it’s ultra calming, which is really important for my sensitive skin. I use it first thing in the morning and it leaves my skin feeling super refreshed and prepped for the day ahead. A pricey, but firm favourite in my routine.

Body Shop vitamin E spray

The spray is great for refreshing my skin. I often use it throughout the day if my skin is needing a little boost of hydration. I often pop it on before applying my makeup too as it gives me that little extra dewiness before putting on my foundation.

Nivea Daily Essentials + Primer

So this little gem is my new fave. Sometimes with moisturisers I can find they make me feel a little itchy, and after 10 minutes my dry patches are peaking through. However, this Nivea moisturiser gives me the hydration I need to last the whole day, it’s also designed as a primer so my makeup applies flawlessly. And the best bit? It’s so affordable, at around £4 it’ll be in my routine for the foreseeable future.

Garnier moisture sheet mask

I use this in my routine every few weeks, just to boost the moisture level in my skin. I love this for when my skin is feeling a little parched, and it feels great to give myself a little pamper session. The only thing I will say is that if my skin is sore from my eczema, I won’t go near this as it can irritate your skin further if you have open wounds. So if you have sensitive skin like me, bear that in mind before reaching for this.
