My favourite spring nude lipsticks

Spread the love

I’m packing away the berry and dark shades and digging out all my pastel pink and nude lipsticks. To be honest, I wear these shades all year round, but I thought I’d share with you my favourites as we head into spring.

Smith & Cult Lip Laquer

I got this in my March Birchbox as a gift for referring a friend and i LOVE it. It’s perfect on it’s own or as a lip topper. I’m quite into glossy lips right now so I think this will become a staple through the spring and summer months.

Rimmel Stay Matte

I’m not usually a big fan of matte lips as I feel they can be quite drying but I really do love this product. It’s a true nude, this is the shade ‘700, be my baby’ and is great matched with a bright or smoky eye look. I’m tempted to pick up a few more in this range, maybe a pop of red perhaps? who knows…

Rimmel ‘Kate Moss’ Collection

I have a couple of shades of this but my favourite is ’45’, its the dark nude that I generally wear for work each day. It’s super wearable, and perfect for that everyday, simple look. This lipstick is well loved and I think I’ll need to buy a new one soon (*does quick internet search to make sure you can still buy this*)…FYI you can still get it at Boots.

Sleek Matte Me

I rediscovered this a little while back. I have a couple of these products from the original shade range and this matte liquid lipstick in the shade ‘petal’ is beautiful. It’s more of a pink than a nude but is great for that girly, everyday look if you’re looking to add a pop of colour to your makeup look.

NYX soft matte lip cream

Okay so, it might just be me but I find these smell like marshmallows, someone please agree with me?! I love these, they’re super pigmented, and also perfect size for popping in your handbag. Staying power isn’t brilliant so you’ll have to reapply, but the product smells so good you won’t mind that at all! I have a couple of shades in this range but this nude in the shade ‘Abu Dhabi’ is perfect for spring. What I also love about NYX lip products is that they are really affordable, so you won’t break the bank by picking one…or a few up.

What lip products do you love this time of year? Let me know in the comments.
