February Birchbox Review

Spread the love

So I kind of never got round to writing my January Birchbox review, the month just flew by. So I’m trying to get organised, I received my February Birchbox last week, and here are my first impressions!

Percy & Reed Quite Frankly Flawless Finishing Polish

I often get a lot of fly away, annoying little hairs that just don’t want to cooperate with the rest of my look. I had been meaning to find something to apply to my hair to keep them in place, and then what drops into my Feb Birchbox? The Percy & Reed Quite Frankly Flawless Finishing Polish! I just apply it once my hair is done and it stops it from looking all fluffy and birds nest like. Also, it smells divine, i’ll definitely be purchasing this once I’ve run out!

ModelCo Conceal and Correct Green Concealer

Due to my eczema (I swear I can’t write a blog post without mentioning it, soz!) I have red patches around my nose and cheeks. I have tried colour correcting before but it’s hard to find a product that blends easily. The colour correcting stick is just what I need and I just pop a little on before applying my primer and foundation.

LAQA & Co. B’Lighter Blush + Highlighter – Peacher’s Daughter

If I could ditch one product entirely, it would be blush, I just don’t use it! But when I saw this in my box I decided to give it a go. It left my cheeks with a really subtle but dewy glow and it made it look like i’d made that little extra effort with my makeup! You have to be careful when blending that it doesn’t move the foundation below, but I found using my finger the best, rather than a brush.

The Beauty Crop Eyeshadow Trio – Love You So Latte

I love the size of this palette, it’s perfect for travel as so many other of my palettes just take up so much space! The pigmentation is nice, and they blend easily. The only thing I wished was that instead of the dark shimmer shade there was a lighter, matte transition shade. I found it hard to create a really subtle look as it was quite a dark palette, but definitely one to keep in my stash!

Luseta Beauty Coconut Milk Hair Mask

I’m not the biggest fan of coconut, but this does smell lovely, even though i’m sat here smelling my hair the morning after using it and the smell has virtually gone. I was hoping that it would last a little longer! It left my hair feeling soft and sleek but no more so than my usual shampoo and conditioner. Nice product, but probably wouldn’t repurchase.
