November Birchbox Review

Spread the love

It seems ages since I’ve sat down and written one of these. Each time I think about writing a Birchbox review I forgot, and then before you know it the next box is out! Anyway, here is a little peek at what I got in my box this month!

Benefit Hoola bronzer

I already had a sample size of this bronzer, so more than happy to get another because it’s my favourite! I’m quite pale skinned, so have to apply with a light hand otherwise it can look a little muddy. But I love it and was thrilled to receive it in my box.

Birchbox brush cleaner

I do try to clean my brushes often, but i’m not going to lie sometimes I really can’t be bothered. This little gadget is brilliant! I just use a little baby shampoo and warm water and swill the brushes on the cleaner, takes two minutes!

Percy and Reed hair oil

I have only used this oil once, but it left my hair feeling lovely after I washed it. Because my hair is thick and heavy I often lose volume at the roots. I massaged the oil into my roots and ran through to the ends of my hair and then dried it. Thumbs up from me!

Seche Nails top coat

I haven’t used this yet as I don’t paint my nails often, usually because the chip within about 5 minutes, but if this top coat solves that then I’ll be painting them a lot more…stay tuned!

James Read gradual face tan

Probably the only item in the box I won’t use, as fake tan goes super patchy on my dry skin, plus I’m so pale that I end up looking tangoed! Perhaps something I’ll pass onto a friend to enjoy!
