June Birchbox Review

Spread the love

Oopsies it seems I have left my blog to fall by the wayside for a little while, for that I apologise! It’s been a crazy busy time and I just haven’t had time to sit down and write, but fear not I’m back and i’m starting with a review of my June Birchbox!

For starters this months box, isn’t actually a box but in fact a gorgeous pastel coloured cosmetics bag, that’ll come in handy for taking my everyday essentials in my handbag!

Scrub Love Coconut Oil Body Scrub

This mango and coconut body scrub smells insane, using it takes me to a tropical island (if only that could be a reality!). This scrub is designed for normal/dry skin so I wasn’t too worried about it drying out my eczema prone skin. This scrub is amazing and has left my skin feeling lovely and soft, a definite thumbs up from me!

Cowshed Hand Cream

This couldn’t have come at a better time, I have literally just run out of my current hand cream. First impressions of this is lovely, my hands are quite sensitive and are a bad point for my eczema has I have to be careful that a hand cream doesn’t make the skin more irritated. But this hand cream has left my hands feeling hydrated and hasn’t left my eczema worse then it already is!

Korres Milk Proteins Cleansing Emulsion

I haven’t used this product yet so I can’t give you a review. But I did a quick test on the back of my hand and it was lovely so I’m sure it will do a great job on my face and is hopefully super gentle at removing my makeup. I’ll update you over on my Instagram as soon as i’ve used it.

MeechNMia Brow Liner

I’ve never been a big fan of brow pencils before but this is something else! I got sent the perfect shade, I have to be careful not to go too dark on my blonde brows! This pencil is great at filling in the sparse parts of my brow while keeping them looking natural, something I haven’t been able to achieve with other brow liners. I will definitely be repurchasing this!

Arrow Waterproof Eyeliner

Opening up this eyeliner and seeing it was a pastel pink colour I was like, hmmm not too sure about this, but having read the little book that comes with the box each month I realised you were supposed to use this on the inner corner of your eye. Feeling a little skeptical as to whether this would work, but this eyeliner is great at opening the eyes up and helping me look a lot less tired! Perfect for that everyday summer dewy look.

I definitely think this is my favourite box so far, I have loved everything. Stayed tuned for next months box! And if you’re interested in getting your own Birchbox, sign up here!
