Byron Bay Skincare Review
I was recently approached by a brand call Byron Bay Skincare. Originally from Australia they have come over to the UK with their beautiful range of products. After chatting with them about what products would work for my fussy skin I purchased the Body Soufflé.
Body Soufflé Active Ingredients
This product is all natural, and has a number of nourishing active ingredients:
- Chia Seed Oil – anti-inflammatory properties
- Macadamia – increases skin elasticity and suppleness
- Liquorice Root – fight inflammations and wrinkle formation
- Jojoba Oil – keeps your skin hydrated
The Scent
The first thing I have to say is that I am not 100% keen on the smell. Yes the ingredients state that there is cinnamon and clove but I didn’t appreciate how strong the smell would be. The clove smell just reminds me of the ham my dad cooks on Christmas Eve every year, not sure if that’s a good thing or not! So if you aren’t a fan of strong smelling products this might not be for you. I have found that the more I have used the product the more I get used to the scent, I think it is because I’m not used to highly scented products after avoiding them for so long!
How does it feel on the skin?
What I love the most about this product is how it soothes my skin when it is itchy and sore. Eczema drives my skin crazy itchy and finding something that calms it down is not easy. This soufflé is lovely and light and stops my skin from itching so much. As an every day moisturiser I don’t think it hydrates my skin as much as other products I have but as a little saviour from my eczema flare ups!
