2015 was a rather busy year. A new job, new house, a couple of holidays and adjusting to adult life after university. Kinda took it out of me! So whats next for 2016?
I’m determined to blog at least twice a week throughout this year, it’s far too easy to come home after work and just sink into the sofa but i’m going to make my blog part of my routine. I am still working out what I want to write about, but it looks like I will mainly focus beauty, fashion and lifestyle (clichéd I know) but hey, it’s my blog so I’m gonna do it!
I often find myself being negative about a lot of things. Work stresses, money worries, everyday little things as well. I let myself get down about things that other people wouldn’t even bat an eyelid at. So something I am working on for this year is to be more positive. If something gets me down I going to teach myself to just relax, take a moment and tell myself not to worry!
Take more photographs
Before being accepted to study geography at university I applied to do photography, after five rejections I had my confidence knocked. Nearly five years later I still haven’t really picked my camera up. But I love photography so it’s one of my goals for this year, I have a new film camera, a Diana F. I’m so excited to send off my rolls of film for processing, so stay tuned and I will keep you updated!
Make the most of the weekends!
I spend all week at work and then I do nothing at the weekends! Yes I am often tired but I need to make the most of the little time I do get to myself. Get up, go out, enjoy my free time. Even though, you can’t beat the odd duvet day now and again!
So that will do for now, I am sure there will be lots more I want to do over the next 12 months but one goal at a time. Some of them are little things, but they all build up to make me a more confident, happy and motivated person.
