    My Spring Fashion Staples

The sun has started to make a more regular appearance (i mean, have you seen the forecast for the weekend?! ☀️) , and I’m finally ready to start packing away the winter clothes. I’ve been changing up my wardrobe and injecting a bit more colour, and trying some new styles that I wouldn’t always go for! Here are some of the pieces I’ve been loving recently. I’m trying to be more aware of sustainable fashion and the impact I can have on the environment. I’ve previously been really bad at just buying a whole wardrobe of clothes, and then only wearing items once or twice, before they just sit at…

    My Eczema Journey; An Update

I haven’t done an eczema update in quite a while, mostly because not a lot had been happening, well until this week anyway! I’ll start giving a short history of my journey so far, in case you haven’t been here before. The Worst Flare I’ve had eczema all my life, and other than when I was a kid it was fairly under control. In 2017 something changed and I began experiencing the worst flare ups I had ever had. I was constantly stuck in a cycle of flaring, barely going a few days without some part of my body being swollen, itchy and weeping. I tried every moisturiser under the…

    A Weekend In Birmingham

My birthday present from my boyfriend, John, was a weekend away in Birmingham. I’ve been to Birmingham plenty of times, it’s only 25 minutes on the train from where I live, and have been there to brave the shopping crowds at the Bullring. I had never stayed in Birmingham, or enjoyed any of the restaurants there so I was super excited. Here is a little review of what we enjoyed during our two night stay! Hotel Indigo – The Cube We stayed right in the heart of Birmingham at the Hotel Indigo, located within The Cube it offers amazing views over the city and was a great place to stay…

How I’m becoming more confident with my style choices

Style and fashion have always things I’ve wanted to be more confident in. I spent so long scrolling through Instagram/Twitter/online retailers looking at clothes and thinking that they would never in a million years suit me and my body. I always stuck to what I knew; Jeans, baggy t-shirts and the occasional dress and boots. This was never helped when my eczema was bad as well, as I just stuck to what was comfortable and wouldn’t further irritate my skin. This year, a goal of mine is to become more confident in front of the camera. I’m lucky my boyfriend doesn’t mind (most of the time) taking outfit photos for…

    Evening Skincare Routine

The winter months are harsh on any skin, the rain, snow and wind leaving your complexion dry and cracked. I’ve always been in a good routine with my skin, for my eczema, but even more so this time of year! My current night time routine soothes and hydrates my skin and allows it to repair overnight so I wake up refreshed and ready for the day ahead! I start my routine with my Body Shop Chamomile Cleanser or Dermalogica Ultra Calming Cleanser and Soap & Glory Cleansing Tool to remove all my makeup and dry skin that has built up throughout the day. I’m careful to ensure I don’t use…

How I style a Midi Skirt

I’ve been watching the midi skirt trend for a little while, and always loved the idea of them. But trying a few on in shops I felt frumpy, and like they swamped me. However I have recently found a couple of gorgeous ones that I have been able to style, and feel good in! I wore both of these with a pair of old Primark boots, and would love to be able to style them with some chunky white trainers too, so any recommendations on where to find some that would go with these skirts, then hit me up! Primark have some gorgeous collections in at the moment, and I’m…
